The artist filmed a sex doll to explore human emotions

 Sex dolls, also called love dolls, are more than a toy.

In his project, a visual artist from New York explored loneliness and other emotions through a series of photographs of a female sex doll. Since 2001, Korea has been shooting silicone dolls. He told Korea that he often thought about the temporary nature and happiness of life.

"If you're human, you can't live forever, but a real doll can't go anywhere, so I want to give her a gift and the identity of life," the artist explained.

Over the years, Korea has produced pictures on the theme of abandoned dolls, dolls and spherical dolls. But her desire to explore topics like loneliness and relationships is to find "dolls that are as accurate as a man." He researched different models, finally ordered a real TPE doll from Japan, and carefully customized his photography project online.

After meeting her for the first time in the box, he decided to name the doll. "This name is an eternal combination of eternity and Eve, the first woman of mankind," South Korea said. In the photo story, Korea and Eva share meals, go shopping and take walks. In the various images of the series, the dolls seem isolated, fragile, meditative and even disappointed.

Korea says the emotion he can plan in this article comes from personal encounters. “Most of the scenes come from my own memory and experience,” he explained. "These photos are like mirrors reflecting who I am."

Korea will continue to shoot the Eva Love Doll photobook. "I think it's a lifelong project, but I haven't decided how the story will end yet," he said. But he already predicts that he will face several challenges. "Over time, I get older but I don't do Eva," he said.

"I hope this story will portray that process and feelings of alienation, alienation, loneliness, and other emotions."
